Four years later

Huntington, Ind. - After four years of hard work, the nursing department at Huntington University is graduating its first class this spring. To celebrate this accomplishment, the Huntington University Foundation will host a breakfast on Oct. 13 to provide a tour of the nursing department as well as an update on the progress of the program.

Dr. Margaret Winter, director of the nursing program, will lead the discussion with information about the experiences shared by nursing students as well as the training opportunities offered through the department. She will also discuss the impending accreditation of the program. A tour of the nursing lab and its updated facilities will follow.

The public is invited to attend. The breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. in Room 125 of the Science Hall on Huntington University's campus and conclude by 9 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $6. First-time attendees eat free.

The Foundation's breakfast is held on the second Wednesday of every month during the school year.
