HUNTINGTON, Ind. Two of Huntington University's enrollment staff have been recognized for their commitments to recruiting students to the institution. Jeff Berggren and Nate Perry were recognized by NACCAP (North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals Inc.) at its June meeting at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark.
NACCAP's Lifetime Achievement award was given to Berggren, vice president for enrollment management and marketing, for his outstanding leadership in the enrollment field over his 30-plus years in the profession.
"He has been a highly sought out administrator while being a key leader in the student recruitment efforts at two member schools," said NACCAP's Executive Director Chant Thompson. "Jeff has served his fellow members well with wise counsel and training facilitation on a national level."
Thompson went on to note Jeff's "willingness to serve and mentor others in the ever-challenging world of enrollment management. Many colleagues stated that they were not only stronger professionals but also were better people for having been associated with Jeff Berggren."
Perry, director of undergraduate admissions, has served Huntington for more than a dozen years in the enrollment management area. NACCAP recognized Perry's leadership on behalf of Huntington University as the Admissions Officer of the Year for 2014.
"Nate's outstanding and creative leadership to advance enrollment at HU has not gone unnoticed," Thompson said. "Under Nate's leadership, the staff has grown in their professionalism and impact on students all across the region. Nate Perry has also taken on the leadership of the new student admissions counselor training for all of North American for NACCAP the past two years."
NACCAP is a Christian professional organization serving some 360 Christian colleges and universities, graduate schools, seminaries and Christian secondary schools members across all of North America.
