Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social psychology from Park University and a Master of Arts degree with certificates in autism and response to intervention from Ball State University. Before joining the University staff, she worked as a transition coordinator/compliance officer in the public-school system; she has also served as a case manager and then assistant director at a community mental health agency. Erica was part of the founding team for Huntington University’s ABLE program, where she worked for three years before transitioning to the Academic Center for Excellence.

Erica resides in her home town of Huntington with her husband and two children. She enjoys working in professions where she can assist others in advocating for their needs. Her goal for all the students she works with is to help them become strong self-advocates.
