Jesus loves the little children
Sharing the love of Christ with young children and creatively finding ways to explain biblical and spiritual concepts in a way they will understand is a gift. Studying children’s ministry at HU will help you harness that gift and fulfill God’s calling to care for the children of the world. You will be equipped with ministry tools and knowledge to help you lead children and families to a growing faithfulness in God. This bachelor’s degree will help you prepare for ministry in a variety of settings, from churches to parachurch organizations.
Children’s Ministry Curriculum
At HU, you’ll learn from the best. Our professors have served in ministry roles and draw from that experience when they teach. You will engage in core ministry courses specifically designed to equip you to reach families and children through ministry. During the summer and fall of your senior year, you will immerse yourself in full-time family and children’s ministry through a Prime Research and Immersion for Ministry Effective (PRIME) experience. This seven-month internship will prepare you for life beyond graduation.
