Welcome to the Performing Arts Department at Huntington University! We seek to develop students' God-given talents by training skilled perfomers, technicians, and musicians for Christian service; foster aesthetic discernment and creating thinking in varying styles of performing arts; and provide opportunities for performing, creating, and serving God and the community through performing arts.
Our Music, Theatre & Performance, and Entertainment Technology programs offer students a catalytic environment to hone their gifts, build a foundation for artistic expression, and discover the profound connection between the arts and the Christian faith. With a commitment to Christ, Scholarship, and Service, we prepare our students to inspire, lead, and make a meaningful impact through their artistic endeavors.
Each year, the Department of Performing Arts offers scholarships to selected students who demonstrate exceptional ability and leadership potential in their intended area of study. Whether you’re interested in music, performance, tech, or a combination of these, a Performing Arts Scholarship gives you the opportunity to enhance your skills and talents.
Practical learning is built into our curriculum, and state-of-the-art equipment is the standard. With amazing facilities, including Longaker Recital Hall, Zurcher Auditorium, the Studio Theatre, scene and costume shops, a design lab, and an acting lab, your courses will be packed with experiential learning to equip you for your future in entertainment.

Production locations range from the 700-seat proscenium in Zurcher Auditorium, to Longaker Recital Hall, to the "black box" Studio Theatre.
