Recreational Opportunities
Friday night of Orientation weekend, join your fellow Foresters and grab some glowsticks for a run or walk through campus and the cross country course. All benefits from this event go toward HU's Hometown Grant which scholarships every Huntington County graduate who attends Huntington University.
Offered during Homecoming Weekend come out to the heart of campus, just outside of the HUB, and you and a friend can join in on the annual Cornhole Tournament!
There are nine different disc golf holes that make up our course here at HU. You can either join the Disc Golf Club offered here, or take a friend and play yourselves, but either way it is a great way to see the whole campus as you play!
The Intramural Sports Program at Huntington University is designed to provide an opportunity for all students, faculty, and staff to participate in organized recreational competition. Now entering its thirtieth decade, Olympiad is a cross campus multi-day Olympics. From sychronized swimming to volleyball to tug-o-war there is something for everyone! Check out this short recap from past years.
Powderpuff football is an exciting tradition at Huntington University, where female students, coached by their male peers, showcase their athleticism and team spirit in a friendly yet competitive flag football tournament.
Just off of Campus Street and across from Miller and Meadows Hall is our sand volleyball court. This is a great place to hangout with friends on a sunny day, or sit around the fire pit when you want to roast a marshmallow!
