Cline named new graduate admissions counselor
FOR RELEASE: Wednesday, March 20, 2013
HUNTINGTON, Ind. Rebecca Cline has been named the new graduate admissions counselor for the Huntington University graduate school. Her position became effective March 1, replacing the former counselor Drew Clay. Cline, originally from Marcellus, Mich., is currently enrolled in HU's master's degree program in counseling. She obtained her bachelor's degree in 2008 from Western Michigan University in business administration.
"I really want to help the program grow," Cline said. "I feel in love with the program, and I want to bring other people in the program so that they, in turn, can help others."
Cline said her undergraduate education will help her in her new role.
"My education in sales helped prepare me for this job," she said. "It's about building relationships with potential students. The program speaks for itself and it's hard to not fall in love with what's happening here."
