HU’s online master’s in counseling ranked nationally for low cost
BestCounselingDegrees.net has ranked Huntington University as #24 for a low-cost online counseling master’s degree. The top 50 schools in the United States were identified for the 2016-2017 ranking.
“We are pleased that our unique approach to graduate education, emphasizing personal, professional and spiritual growth continues to be recognized and honored. The Institute for Leadership and Counseling is guided by three fundamental precepts: professional competence, personal transformation, and powerful impact,” said Dr. Jerry Davis, Director of Graduate Counseling Program / Professor of Counseling.
BestCounselingDegrees.net began by using College Navigator to gather a list of schools that offered distance education counseling programs. Then each school’s website was researched to confirm if their counseling programs were indeed offered online. Next, each school’s accredited status was checked and only schools that were regionally accredited remained on the list. BestCounselingDegrees.net compiled each school’s graduate tuition per credit hour from their website. The lowest tuition rate was listed for the schools that offered multiple programs with multiple tuition rates. This comprehensive list is intended to allow students to choose the online format that best meets their educational needs and financial resources.
All the schools listed are regionally accredited and many of the programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). View the complete rankings.
