Huntington ranked 7th for its online marketing degree

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Huntington University has once again been recognized for its quality online programming. The Professional Programs' online bachelor's degree in marketing was named No. 7 in the country on TheBestSchools.org's "The 20 Best Online Bachelor in Marketing Degree Programs" list. The list evaluates programs based on academic rigor, range of courses provided, faculty strength, rankings, awards and reputation.
"It is an honor to be named one of the nation's best. We strive to equip our students with an understanding of not just theories and facts but how those can be applied to their job and life," said Julie Goetz, director of graduate and Professional Programs. "Our goal is to develop traits of Christian character and service in our students."
Huntington's marketing program is offered online and onsite through the adult degree program on campus. It prepares students to lead marketing efforts at their organizations and provides them with immediately applicable coursework in business, including specialized marketing training in advertising and salesmanship, digital marketing, public relations and social media, market research and graphic design.
In addition to marketing, Huntington offers three other online bachelor's degree programs for adults in the areas of business administration, not-for-profit leadership and human resource management. An associate degree in organizational management is also offered in an online format.
Huntington provides a wide range of courses through the convenience of distance learning. In addition to the full online bachelor's degree programs, online undergraduate courses are offered to traditional undergraduate students during the summer months. Online graduate programs also are offered in Christian ministry as well as hybrid programs in youth ministry leadership and education.

Earlier this year, Huntington was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top colleges in the country for online bachelor's degree programs. Among Indiana schools, HU was ranked third and 87th out of 210 schools nationally.
The university also has been ranked 16th in the state for the most affordable online colleges in Indiana by Affordable Colleges Online.
