HU ranked #13 for affordability in the Midwest
Huntington University has been ranked #13 by Christian Universities Online’s (CUO) recent ranking, “25 Most Affordable Christian Colleges & Universities 2017 – Midwest.”
A follow up to CUO’s “50 Most Affordable Christian Colleges and Universities 2017” ranking, this list highlights institutions located in the Midwest that offer students affordability without compromising quality in their programs.
“HU is excited to be named one of the most affordable colleges in the Midwest,” said Lisa Montany, Director of Financial Aid. “We work hard to partner with students and their families to make the excellent Christian education provided by our faculty and supported by our staff as accessible as possible to as many students as possible. We are delighted to hear that our efforts are truly making a difference in the lives of many current students and are looking forward to meeting and working with our future students!”
The CUO rankings are based on “Net Price” tuition, and the data was collected from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Net price is defined as subtracting the average amount of federal, state/local government or institutional grant or scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees, books and supplies, and the weighted average for room and board and other expenses. In order to be considered in this ranking, each school is either a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) or able to be considered member eligible.
