HU Foundation Breakfast to highlight 2017 U.S. and state legislative sessions
The May 10 Huntington University Foundation breakfast will feature U.S. Congressman Jim Banks, Indiana State Senator Andy Zay and Indiana State Representative Dan Leonard as they discuss highlights from the 2017 legislative session.
“I hope you can join us for the last HU Foundation breakfast meeting for this school year. You won’t want to miss hearing our local representatives discuss recent state and national legislative highlights,” stated Holly Sale, Foundation president.
The May Foundation Breakfast will take place at the Habecker Dining Commons with breakfast beginning at 7:45 a.m., the program starting at 8:00 a.m. and concluding by 9:00 a.m. The Foundation Breakfast is held on the second Wednesday of each month, October through May, and is open to the public. The cost of the breakfast is $10, a portion of which helps to support local area students attending HU through the Huntington County Grant. First-time attendees eat free courtesy of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
