Caryn Howell

Director of Student Services

Caryn assumed the role of Director of Student Services at Huntington University Arizona in January of 2025. She brings with her eight and a half years of experience in Chrisitan higher education. She holds a Master of Arts in Ministry Studies with a Counseling Concentration, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grace College & Theological Seminary.

Caryn’s service in higher education began in the health and counseling center, before continuing with assignments in online education and the registrar’s office. In addition, her own educational journey included finishing as a non-traditional student, while working full-time.

Caryn is excited to join the Arizona team and to come alongside of the students, supporting them to the best of her ability. Although moving from Indiana to Arizona came as a surprise to her, seeing how God orchestrated all the details has made it an honor to join Him in all that He is doing at HUAZ! “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Outside of work, Caryn enjoys music, walking, jogging, and hiking, as well as trying new sports and activities. Plus, she looks forward to receiving updates of the many happenings in the lives of her four amazing adult children, who are currently in Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, and Oxford, England.
