Brett Boxell joined Huntington University in 2020 as the student accounts clerk. His responsibilities include providing accurate billing statements to students, answering questions regarding their billing, helping process refunds, and receipting gifts to the University. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and an MFA from Kent State University in Ohio. Prior to working for the University, Brett was a mortgage underwriter and then an elementary school teacher.

Originally from Warren, Indiana, Brett currently resides in Huntington. He and his wife, Jackie, have been married for over twenty years and are blessed with one son. Brett’s fondest memory of HU is the day that one of the gifts the University received was a letter containing a one-dollar bill; it reminds him that no matter the amount, each gift matters in working towards HU’s mission. In his spare time, Brett enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and playing piano in the praise band at Huntington First Church of the Nazarene.
