Dr. Tim Smith, FRHistS, teaches in the Department of History & Political Science. He specializes in international history, with a particular focus upon Cambodia, Vietnam, and Kashmir.
He has published four books and several essays in edited collections and journals, including Diplomacy and Statecraft, European History Quarterly, History, Historical Yearbook, and the University of Sussex Journal of Contemporary History. Other articles and reviews have appeared in Civil Wars, BBC World Service, Diplomacy and Statecraft, European History Quarterly, History, Journal of British Studies, and Patterns of Prejudice.
