Jordan Monson
Professor of Missions and Old Testament/Director of the Center for Faith Integration and Vocation
Joined the Huntington University faculty in 2023.
Jordan Monson is Huntington’s professor of Missions and Old Testament. He also serves as the director of the Center for Faith Integration and Vocation.
Jordan has spent his career between mission work and pastoring. He worked in church planting in both Spain and the US and worked in Bible translation in Lusophone Africa and Latin America.
More recently, he served as the founding and senior pastor of Capital City Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jordan has a B.A. in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Minnesota, an M.A. in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton, M.Div equivalence through Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, linguistics study through SIL UND, and he’s currently completing his PhD in Intercultural Studies (Missiology) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
He writes regularly for Christianity Today and will publish his first book with B&H / Lifeway in the Spring of 2025.
Jordan is an avid bicycle commuter, loves a good conversation, and enjoys reading and writing.
