John Paff became an integral part of Huntington University in 1993 when he assumed the role of director of public relations. Over the next two decades, he evolved into the university's chief communication officer, eventually holding the esteemed positions of vice president for university relations and executive assistant to the president. Paff's dedicated service and leadership significantly contributed to the growth and positive trajectory of Huntington University during his tenure.

In 2013, after nearly twenty years of committed service to Huntington University, Paff transitioned to a new chapter in his professional journey. He joined Nichols Company, a prominent Fort Wayne-based marketing and public relations agency. Demonstrating his prowess in the field, Paff quickly ascended to the role of owner in 2015. Working collaboratively with his two partners, he played a pivotal role in steering the agency's growth, expanding its client base, and orchestrating its relocation to downtown Fort Wayne.

Notably, Paff's entrepreneurial spirit came to the forefront in late 2019 when he decided to embark on a new venture. Opting to explore uncharted territories, he divested his interest in Nichols Company to launch two distinct agencies – Fort Wayne Marketing and Petra Strategic Communication. In this dual capacity, Paff now offers comprehensive services encompassing brand strategy, marketing tactics, and public relations to small and mid-size businesses in the region and extends his expertise to not-for-profit organizations nationwide.

A Huntington resident, John Paff remains deeply connected to the community. Alongside his professional pursuits, he and his family actively engage in campus activities, fostering a continued relationship with Huntington University. Paff's journey exemplifies a commitment to professional excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and a dedication to contributing meaningfully to the growth and success of both businesses and the community at large.
