Chassidy Johnson graduated from University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2000 with an Associate of science in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Work experience included skilled nursing facilities, acute rehab with adults and outpatient rehab with children. She continued her education at the University of Findlay in Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in 2010 and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2012. Since that time, she has worked extensively in acute care rehab within the intensive care, oncology, medical-surgical and burn units.
Ms. Johnson has been at guest lecturer at several local universities on her expertise in burn rehab and lymphedema therapy. She was an adjunct instructor in the OTA program at USF in 2005.
Ms. Johnson has additional credentials as a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, along with obtaining a graduate certificate in Medical Management through Kelley School of Business. She is a member of the Indiana Occupational Therapy Association, the American Occupational Therapy Association and the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
