Joined the Huntington University faculty in 2024.

Briana Valenzuela is a Visiting Instructor of Animation at Huntington University Arizona. In this role, she assists in teaching various topics within the animation department. Prior to joining the HU Arizona faculty, Briana worked as a clean-up/retake artist for a remote company, where she worked alongside the Disney series "MoonGirl and Devil Dinosaur." She gained expertise in Toon Boom Harmony and the technical aspects of animation. Additionally, she worked remotely for a company called PASCO, creating informational videos for the client. Briana's love for learning extends beyond the classroom, as she attends seminars and classes with industry professionals to not only improve her skills but also keep up to date with the animation industry.

Briana’s teaching goal is to help students build foundational knowledge to fulfill their goals inside and outside the classroom.

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Briana is passionate about storytelling and wants to tell her own stories through storyboarding, comics, or children's storybooks in the future. Briana enjoys delving into fantasy novels, going for long runs to clear her mind, playing new video or board games, expressing herself through painting, and capturing nature through outdoor sketching.
