Assistant Professor of Business

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the OTA program philosophy consistent with the University’s philosophy and mission
- Direct strategic planning for the OTA program in alignment with the university’s strategic plan
- Create/modify objectives and goals, curriculum plan, course offerings and other materials needed to maintain accreditation through AOTA’s Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
- Teach 12 credits annually and conduct collaborative or independent research related to an area of clinical expertise
- Release time is provided for administrative responsibilities as OTA program director. As a result, the OTA program director will teach 12 credits per year (6 per semester) and receive 12 credits release time per year.
- Work with University administration to continue to hire and develop OTA department faculty members

- Collaborate with OTD Program Directors and OTD faculty/staff to align faculty expertise, resource utilization, and fieldwork experiences
- Promote inter-professional education in the curriculum

Huntington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach HS115: Historical Perspectives on Culture and Civilization I and HS116: Historical Perspectives on Culture and Civilization II for fall and spring semesters, 2024-2025. These are 3-credit hour courses and they aim to introduce first-year undergraduate students to the main themes and problems of western civilization. Graduate Assistantship
Huntington University has an opening for a GRADUATE ASSISTANT for Women's Softball.
QUALIFICATIONS:

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Graduate Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist the Women’s Softball Team.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in all team functions (practices, contests, devotions, team building activities, community service, etc.)
- Perform tasks assigned by the head coach
- Year 2 of graduate program would be coaching the junior varsity softball team to not only receive your master’s, but gain real game experience (writing lineups, making changes, etc.)
BENEFITS:
- $5,000 stipend per year, or if only working one semester, the rate is $2,500 per semester either Fall or Spring.
- Coaches may pay more to the GA in the form of a financial aid scholarship to offset tuition costs, which must be identified and paid to the Business Office in August prior to the start of the academic year. The amount cannot exceed tuition costs for the year.
