Bring in Spring with the March MCA Preview

As the chilly winter months in Indiana come to an end, Huntington University will be springing to life with Merillat Centre for the Arts events! Check out all the MCA has to offer in March:

1. March 8: Longaker Honors Recital

7:30 p.m.
Zurcher Auditorium

Come listen to students from the Department of Music as they perform high-caliber musical scores with grace and poise.

2. March 13: All-Area I Student Recital

4:00 p.m.
Longaker Recital Hall

This event features a variety of music majors and minors in vocal and instrumental solo and chamber music performances.

3. March 15: Senior Recital: Angel Brzozowski – French Horn

7:30 p.m.
Longaker Recital Hall

Angel Brzozowski is an instrumental music education major who will be graduating in December of 2024. She will perform a recital featuring her strong mastery of the French horn.

4. March 22: Gallery Reception: Juried HU Student Art Exhibit

6:00-7:30 p.m.
Robert E. Wilson Art Gallery

At this reception, the winners from each art category of the Juried Student Art Exhibit are announced, and refreshments will be enjoyed afterwards. Celebrate with HU students as they receive recognition for their achievements!

5. March 22: Opera Workshop

7:30 p.m.
Zurcher Auditorium

The Opera Workshop is an opportunity for HU music and theatre students to participate in acting, singing, and stage movement. The techniques they have learned in this workshop will come together at this event, where they will exhibit scenes for performance from musical theatre and opera.
