Forester Fridays

Huntington University Arizona invites artists interested in the digital media arts to check out our creative culture at Forester Fridays during fall 2024 and spring 2025!

Join us on select Fridays from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. to take a tour, enjoy watching some award-winning student work, and learn more from our staff about admissions, programs, financial aid, etc. We can't wait to see you!

Classroom Presentations

Whether you are a high school class, a group of transfer students, or a club/organization, we would love to show you what Huntington University Arizona has to offer!

You and your students can check out our creative culture during a 30-45 minute classroom visit with a HUAZ admissions representative that will include a virtual tour, viewing student work, learning about the admissions process, and more.

Below are some helpful tips as you make preparations for your time at HUAZ.

  • Arizona does not use Daylight Savings Time; Huntington University Arizona is on Mountain Time Zone during the winter and on Pacific Time Zone during the summer.
  • Your tour is a walking tour, all indoors, lasting about an hour so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. We do have an elevator that can be used to tour each floor if you prefer.
  • Attire at our location is pretty traditional, no need to dress up!

Remember, we are a one-stop-shop, so we are happy to answer any questions you have regarding admissions, financial aid, student services, etc.

Huntington University’s Center for Digital Media Arts is easy to find! We are located just south of the Bell Road and 101 interchange at the intersection of North 83rd Ave and West Mariners Way in Peoria, Arizona. 

From the North

From Flagstaff or Sedona, take I-17 S to AZ – 101 Loop W, exit 214C. Continue on AZ – 101 Loop W for 9 miles. Take exit 14 for Bell Road, keep left at the fork and follow signs for Bell Rd E, and turn right onto N 83rd Avenue. Turn right at the 3rd stoplight onto W Mariners Way and Huntington University will be on your left at the first corner!

From the South

From Tucson or Phoenix, take I-10 W to AZ – 101 Loop N, exit 133B. Continue on AZ – 101 Loop N for 10 miles. Take exit 12 for Thunderbird Road, turn right onto W Thunderbird Road, and turn left onto N 83rd Avenue. Turn left at the 1st stoplight onto W Mariners Way and Huntington University will be on your left at the first corner!

From the East

From Albuquerque, take I-40 W for 457 miles to I-17 S, exit 195. In 123 miles merge onto AZ – 101 Loop W, exit 214C. Continue on AZ – 101 Loop W for 9 miles. Take exit 14 for Bell Road, keep left at the fork and follow signs for Bell Rd E, and turn right onto N 83rd Avenue. Turn right at the 3rd stoplight onto W Mariners Way and Huntington University will be on your left at the first corner!

From the West

From Los Angeles, take 101 S to I-10 E. In 343 miles merge onto AZ – 101 Loop N, exit 133B. Continue on AZ – 101 Loop N for 10 miles. Take exit 12 for Thunderbird Road, turn right onto W Thunderbird Road, and turn left onto N 83rd Avenue. Turn left at the 1st spotlight onto W Mariners Way and Huntington University will be on your left at the first corner!

From San Diego, take I-8 E for 282 miles to I-10 E. Continue on I-10 E for 20 miles to AZ – 101 Loop N, exit 133B. Stay on AZ – 101 Loop N for 10 miles. Take exit 12 for Thunderbird Road, turn right onto W Thunderbird Road, and turn left onto N 83rd Avenue. Turn left at the 1st spotlight onto W Mariners Way and Huntington University will be on your left at the first corner!
