Is God calling you to serve Him through ministry with youth? Preparing for a youth ministry vocation at Huntington University will equip you with sound biblical strategies for ministry that will enable you to reach youth in church or parachurch environments. Whether your call is toward church-based ministry, camps, global, urban, or rural youth ministry, or programs for at-risk youth, our major in youth ministry will prepare you to engage with teenagers and lead them toward increasing maturity and faithfulness in their relationship with God.

Youth Ministries Curriculum

The youth ministries major integrates biblical truth and evangelical theology with ministry leadership strategies and principles. You will grow in critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity as you learn practical ways to lead and nurture youth toward spiritual maturity. Hands-on experiences such as the seven-month full-time PRIME internship will immerse you in a church or parachurch setting to help you integrate your education with real-life ministry practice.
