Interested in a Semester Abroad?  The Off-Campus & International Studies Office is hosting an Information Night on November 19th from 8:00-9:00pm.  This will be held in Room 275 in the Loew-Brenn Building.  In addition to an overview of the available opportunities, including a semester at Oxford and a semester with the American Studies Program in Washington DC, there will be testimonies from students who have already participated in the programs.  We’ll also fill you in on the costs, requirements, and procedures for taking a semester off-campus/abroad.  Come check it out - nothing will challenge and shape you like spending a semester on a campus in another part of the country or the world.  This meeting is not necessary for students who are already in correspondence with the OCIS office

November is:

National Novel Writer’s Month

For those of you who write,

For those of you who wish you wrote,

For those of you who pretend to write

For those of you who will write…someday

For those of you who want to casually drop reference

to “the novel I’m working on” at a party

There is a  month for you

And that month is NANOWRIMO

SAB is sponsoring students to write through the month of November with the goal of creating a work of 50,000 words.
At which point you will technically be considered “a novelist”

Three students accomplished this feat last year, and we are looking for a bigger turn out this year

For more information please visit http://www.nanowrimo.org/
