Over the next two years, Huntington’s graduate programs will expand to include occupational therapy, global initiatives, global youth ministry and pastoral leadership. In addition, the university is partnering with Dr. John Townsend to form the Townsend Institute for Leadership and Counseling.

Renown youth ministry author Steve Gerali to give adolescent development seminarHuntington University’s youth ministry leadership graduate program will host an adolescent development seminar at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5201 Spring Cypress, Klein, Texas, on Feb. 5. The seminar will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will feature Steve Gerali, an award-winning author, professor and clinical counselor.

Dr. Dave Rahn, director of the graduate youth ministry leadership program, has been asked to sit on an expert advisory council for Fuller University’s Youth Institute E-Journal. It will be in connection with their research project, “Churches Engaging Young People.” Rahn also was recently awarded the Pioneer Award from the Association of Youth Ministry Educators.
