2013 Forester Night recognizes students, faculty The 42nd annual Huntington University Forester Night celebrated the accomplishments of students from across campus, as well as the recognition of the Foresters of the Year, the 2013 Outstanding Scholar Award, the Impact Initiative Scholarship and the Professor of the Year. On March 15, Dr. Tom Bergler, professor of ministry and missions, gave two presentations at the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C. The presentations were titled “The Juvenilization of American Christianity” and “Reversing the Juvenilization of American Christianity: Fostering Spiritual Maturity in Congregations.”

Dr. Karen Jones, professor of ministry and missions, was the conference coordinator for the January 2013 biennial meeting of the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry. The five-day conference was held at Cambridge University, Fitzwilliam College in the United Kingdom. While there, she also attended meetings of the executive board.
