Huntington, Ind.—Hundreds of Huntington College students will spend Tuesday morning (Sept. 4, 2001) reaching out to those in need. Nineteen teams of freshmen and transfer students will participate in the Eighth Annual Volunteer Plunge, a half-day of community service held each year in conjunction with Huntington College's new student orientation.

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington College Women’s Auxiliary will hold its Fall Breakfast, Saturday, September 15, in the Habecker Dining Commons. The event is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., with HC art professor, Rebecca Coffman, presenting the morning’s topic, “Hang It Up! Art with Rebecca.” The cost of the breakfast will be $5.50. The Department of Music at Huntington College has been accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, a giant step forward in expanding the HC program’s enrollment and national reputation.
Thornhill Nature Preserve will sponsor a community workday on August 5. Huntington College personnel and families from the local community are invited to participate.
