Dr. Beth Burch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Millersville University in Pennsylvania in 1985. She then pursued graduate studies in botany at the University of Florida, where she earned a Master’s Degree in 1988, and completed the Ph.D. in 1993. Her primary interests in botany are in plant physiology and biochemistry.

Dr. William H. Bordeaux received a Doctorate of Arts in chemistry from the University of Miami, Florida. He was employed during the summers and part-time as a chemist as the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric  Administration (NOAA) laboratories in Miami.
