The Applied Business Research Project
An applied business research project sets EXCEL apart from other adult college programs. It is designed and conducted by each student. Each student chooses a topic related to work or community interests and develops it. The business research project has the following purposes:

·         To develop research skills needed to locate information on which to base sound decisions.

·         To develop professional writing skills.

·         To develop oral presentation skills.

·         To develop a new area of expertise of value to the student on the job or in the community.

To prepare students for graduate school.
