11.17.09 - After the Saints of Holy Cross College hung around for the first ten minutes of the contest, the Foresters took control of the game to record the 104-75 victory.

With both teams seemingly scoring at will for the first three minutes of the game, both team cooled off over the next five minutes until Luke Smith knocked down a trey to open up a 9-3 run that gave HU a 25-15 lead midway through the half.  The Foresters continued to build on their lead to go up 52-35 at halftime.

HU methodically broke down the Saints’ defense in the second half by finding the open man in transition, knocking down the outside shot and pounding the ball inside.  It was another solid performance by the Foresters in which they dominated every statistic.  For the game HU shot 51.4% (37-72) compared to the Saints 37.9% (22-58.  HU outrebounded Holy Cross 47-28.

Kevin Kyle led the Foresters with 24 points.  Kellen Zawadzki was one assist away from a triple-double with his 19 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists.  Caleb Kennedy and Smith chipped in 14 and 12 points respectively.  Justin Breveard led all scorers with 29 points.  Also scoring in double-digits for the Saints were Elliott Jones with 18 and Mark Wilkins with 13.
