The track and field outdoor season is officially underway for the Foresters as they braved the weather at Indiana Wesleyan University’s Polar Bear Invitational Saturday at Wildcat field.

After taking nearly a three-week sabbatical from games thanks to a lingering Jack Frost, the HU softball team (2-2) had their hands full when they returned to the field on Saturday, dropping a pair of games, 4-1, 8-0, to 10th-ranked Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.).

The Forester men’s tennis team collected its third win this spring with a 7-2 decision over Indiana Tech on Friday at Klopfenstien Courts.

Despite an early lead in each of its games over the weekend, the Forester baseball team couldn’t hang on as Martin Methodist College leaned on clutch hitting to record the three-game sweep over Coach Frame’s squad, 8-3, 12-3, 10-7.
