Spending the later part of the week at the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Davenport University, Joseph Straznicky and Diego Inurritegui scratched and clawed their way to win the consolation bracket which included an impressive 8-6 win over conference rivals Jason Denton and Mitchell Trammel of Marian in the finals.

For the second consecutive match, the HU men’s tennis team was on the short end of a 5-4 decision. This time it was the Maple Leafs of Goshen College who handed HU the loss.

The Huntington men’s tennis team (2-4) spent the better part of Saturday at Klopfenstein Courts, claiming a convincing 9-0 win over league rival Taylor University in the morning before Cornerstone University handed the Foresters a 5-4 loss in the afternoon.

It was a convincing first win for the Huntington men's tennis team as they swept the University of Saint Francis 9-0 at Swinney Park Saturday morning. With this win, the Foresters improve to 1-3 overall, 1-1 in conference play.
