Junior Courtney Baker scored both of HU’s goals on Saturday to extend her team’s season by at least another week as the 5th-seeded Forester women’s soccer team knocked off 4th-seeded Mount Vernon Nazarene University 2-1 in double overtime in first round action of the Crossroads League tournament.

Statistically, the Foresters seemed to dominate every category but unfortunately the Bethel College Pilots still found a way to steal a 2-1 double overtime road win from the HU women’s soccer team Saturday afternoon on senior day at King Stadium.

The first shot of the game proved to be the game-winner as the University of Saint Francis scored within the first four minutes of play and then clung to their 1-0 lead for the win over the HU women’s soccer team Wednesday night Bishop D'Arcy Stadium.
