The Forester volleyball team kept things close against #20 Indiana Wesleyan University (27-7, 15-1) in sets one and three but could never get over the hump on their way to suffering a 3-0 loss, 25-23, 25-11, 25-21, to the Wildcats Tuesday night at Platt Arena.

For the second consecutive tournament, the Forester women’s bowling team finished in the top three by claiming 3rd out of 21 teams at the Tier II Boilermaker Classic at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl over the weekend.

Courtney Baker scored within the first 20 seconds on Saturday to give her team a lead that would never be challenged as the Forester women’s soccer team enjoyed a lopsided 5-0 win over the Goshen College Maple Leafs on senior day at King Stadium.

With two weeks until the Cross League Championships, Saturday’s race, the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, was a good gauge for the Forester cross country teams to see where they stand among their league foes.

Playing in their last regular season home match, the HU men’s soccer team gave up a goal in the 81st minute to drop a 1-0 decision to the University of Saint Francis Wednesday afternoon at King Stadium.

Up against one of the top teams in the league, the Forester volleyball team stretched the match to five sets before dropping a 3-2 decision to the Trojans of Taylor University, 25-12, 19-25, 25-14, 22-25, 15-10, Wednesday night at Odle Gymnasium.
