Spending the later part of the week at the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Davenport University, Joseph Straznicky and Diego Inurritegui scratched and clawed their way to win the consolation bracket which included an impressive 8-6 win over conference rivals Jason Denton and Mitchell Trammel of Marian in the finals.

The Forester women’s soccer team suffered its fifth consecutive loss Wednesday night to #RV Trinity Christian College. The Trolls controlled play to run away with a 4-1 victory.

Less than two minutes into the match, sophomore Isaac Wust scored his first goal of the season to give his team an early lead but it wouldn’t stick as Trinity Christian College held the HU men’s soccer team scoreless the rest of the way while finding back netting three times for the 3-1 win.

Playing in Platt Arena for the first time this season, the Forester volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss (25-14, 25-17, 25-12) to #RV Taylor University Wednesday night to drop to 0-2 overall, 0-2 in league play.

The Huntington women’s tennis team (4-3) evened up their league record at 2-2 with a convincing 8-1 win over Goshen College Tuesday afternoon to keep the Maple Leafs winless in Crossroads play at 0-5, 1-6 overall.

For the second consecutive match, the HU men’s tennis team was on the short end of a 5-4 decision. This time it was the Maple Leafs of Goshen College who handed HU the loss.
