Huntington to host 54th performance of 'Messiah'

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Concert Choir and Orchestra will join forces with the Community Festival Chorus in the 54th annual Huntington performance of Handel’s “Messiah.”

The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. The public is invited, and there is no admission charge.

Huntington University senior Abigail Allwein, soprano; alumna Kara Judy, alto; junior Matthias Austin, tenor; and David Moan of North Manchester, bass, will serve as vocal soloists. Dr. Robert Lynn, Huntington University music faculty, will be the conductor for the performance.
