Babb, Kaushik receive November Peer Awards

Huntington, Ind.—Peer Award recipients for the month of November are Julie Babb and Varun Kaushik.

Babb, the assistant director of creative services, received the award from Jeremy Rufener.

“Julie has created numerous marketing pieces for the university, and they are all excellent. It is always exciting to give Julie an idea and see her craft it beyond what you are expecting,” Rufener said. “Her commitment to high-quality work and her passion for Huntington University lifts the spirits of those around her.”

Kaushik serves as an instructional coordinator with Technology Services. He received the award from Rick Upchurch.

“I have chosen Varun Kaushik to receive this award because of how much he has assisted me this past month on a variety of tech issues. I have always appreciated his attitude and willingness to figure out how to work out a solution to the problems presented,” Upchurch said. “Kaushik is easy to work with and seems to have an intuitive grasp of what I’m trying to say related to the problem at hand.”
