
Huntington, Ind.—Michael L. Kubacki, chairman, president and CEO of Lake City Bank, is the featured speaker for the first Huntington University Leadership Luncheon of the 2010-11 season.
Kubacki, who recently completed a term as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and chaired its Audit Committee, will speak about the Federal Reserve System and its response to the recent financial crisis during the luncheon at noon on Aug. 25.
Kubacki is currently the chairman of the Northeast Indiana Corporate Council and of the Goshen Health System. He joined Lake City in 1998 after a 25-year career with Northern Trust corporation, serving in its offices in Chicago and Los Angeles. A native of Pierceton, Ind., he received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
The luncheon, sponsored by the Huntington University Center for Leadership, will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons. The cost is $10 per person – a reduced price this year. The luncheon is open to the public.
