The Forester women ended the MCC regular season tied for fifth place and finished the same in the MCC Tennis Championships held at Concordia High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In singles play, HU freshman Stephanie Strong was the lone Forester to reach the finals. Playing at #1, Strong defeated Janelle Koenig (Marian) 6-4, 6-0 and Diana Diaz (Goshen) 6-3, 6-3 before falling to Sarah Bauss (IWU) 6-2, 6-3 in the finals. "Stephanie had a great season," said Coach Turner. "Her only two losses of the year were to the conference champion. This is the first time one of my girls has made it to the finals in the conference tournament. I am really encouraged about next year."

Joining Strong on the list were Sarah Bauss (IWU), Robin Braun (Bethel), Katie Clark (Taylor), Diana Diaz (Goshen), Emily Lamport (Bethel), Erin Nuesh (IWU), Kelley Pence (Taylor), and Julie Wegener (Grace). IWU's Coach Terry Porter was named the Conference Coach of the Year.
