Forester tennis opens spring season with win over Cougars

Huntington, Ind. - The HU women’s tennis opened up its spring season with a decisive 8-1 win over the Cougars of Saint Francis on Monday afternoon.

The Foresters started off strong by winning two of the three doubles matches and finished even stronger by sweeping singles play to notch the win.

"The team played a very solid match all through the line-up today,” commented Coach Ferguson. “We have been working on playing a more confident, aggressive style of tennis and today that's what got us the win."
