The Foresters could never get their game on track as they fell to Urbana University by the score of 4-0. Urbana took the game with two goals in each half while shutting out HU. The Foresters seemed to have a consolation goal in the final minute of play when a penalty was awarded but Sarah Kaufman hit the attempt high to complete the day of frustration for Huntington.
"We didn’t play too badly overall but we just came up short on both ends of the field time and time again," said Coach Datema. "It seemed we would have a nice buildup going only to have it break down because of a bad pass or an errant shot. We also made a few errors on defense that cost us goals. It was one of those games we hope we got out of our system as we return to conference play."
With the loss, the Foresters fall to 5-8-1 on the year.
