Huntington University junior guard, Sarah Miller, was named the women's basketball Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Player of the Week for the week of January 10-16.
Miller, an exercise science major from Eaton, Indiana (Delta High School), played every minute of every game last week including an 84-79 overtime win against Grace College on Tuesday evening. Against the Lancers she finished with 31 points, fifteen of those points coming from behind the arc on 5-for-8 shooting. She also pulled down nine boards and dished out two assists. She followed that up with a 28-point performance on Thursday against Indiana Wesleyan University. On Saturday she added 12 points in the losing effort against Bethel College. For the week, Miller averaged 23.6 points and 4.3 boards per game.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
