HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Taylor University’s dominance at the net got the best of the Forester volleyball team Wednesday night as the Trojans won in straight sets, 25-15, 25-18, 25-15, on senior night at the Merillat Complex.
The Trojans registered 13 team blocks to HU’s three and finished with a .337 hitting percentage to make for a short night. With this win, Taylor locks in the No. 2 spot in league standings.
Melissa Grossman paced HU with ten kills and two blocks. Kaylee Searles and Heather Medich added six kills each. Codie Morie dished out 29 assists while Katie Bowers tallied a team-high 17 digs.
The Foresters (4-22, 2-15) wrap up their season on Wednesday when they travel to Spring Arbor University for a 7:00 matchup.
