In first round action of the MCC tourney, the #7-seeded Foresters couldn't pull the upset over #2-seed Marian. They lost in three games, 25-8, 25-16, 25-12, to close out their season.
Going up against a tough Knight team, the Foresters never really got in their groove. Brittney Smelser led HU's attack with seven kills. She also finished with a team-high eight digs. Alyssa Schroeder dished out 14 assists.
The Foresters finish the season with a 17-16 record.
