Carnahan headed to Huntington

Huntington, Ind. - Lakewood Park Christian School standout, Jensen Carnahan, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Huntington University this fall. Carnahan, a 5'10 setter and middle hitter, guided her team to a 28-4 record this past season.

Having been a key player in a winning program, Carnahan has received numerous awards for her outstanding high school career. In addition to being selected as her school's Panther Award Winner for leadership, she was also named an Indiana North All-Star and received KCP Media Group All-Area honors. She is playing club volleyball for Central Indiana Volleyball Club.

Huntington University volleyball coach, Denny Crum, is looking forward to Carnahan’s contributions to the team. “We are very excited to have Jensen attending Huntington University," said Coach Crum. "Not only do we add a player with all-state level talent in volleyball, but also a wonderful young lady and bright student. Jensen offers us a lot of flexibility in being nearly six feet tall, is a proven winner in both volleyball and softball and brings a skill base that should help us improve our level of play."

Carnahan is the daughter of David and Lauri Carnahan of Leo, Indiana.
