Huntington, Ind. - Not a stranger to the national stage, junior Joseph Herber will compete in the 5,000 meter race at the 2011 NAIA Men's Indoor Track and Field National Championships being held March 3-5 in Geneva, Ohio.
After competing as a freshman in the 3,000 meter event, Herber, a business management major from Fremont, Ind. (Fremont High School), is making his second trip to the national indoor event. He qualified in the 5,000 at the Anderson University Raven Invitational on February 5 by posting a time of 15:12.41. As the 19th seed, Herber will run in the semi-final round at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday with the finals on Saturday at 3:10 p.m.
