Long named MCC Pitcher of the Week

Huntington, Ind. - Huntington University junior ace, Molly Long, was named the softball Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 21-27.

Long, a business management major from Logansport, Indiana (Logansport High School), earned three wins on the mound for Huntington over spring break. She only gave up two runs over 22 innings of work, allowing just eleven hits and two walks while striking out 32 batters. Her current ERA is .64.

The Foresters (8-0) return to action on Saturday, March 26 when they travel to Indiana Institute of Technology for a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 173 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
