After sweeping the doubles matches, Taylor University went on to down the Foresters 7-2 in MCC action.
Although the score looks lopsided, things could have been more interesting had HU won the three-setter at #1 singles and the two close matches that were lost in doubles 9-8 and 9-7.
Gonzalo Vivas got revenge from his weekend loss at the ITA Regional by defeating Jorge Burmicky 6-1, 6-3 at #2 singles and Mitchell McDonald started out slowly against Dave Smith, but closed out the first set 7-5 before dominating the second set 6-1 at #3 singles.
"Taylor is probably the top team in the conference and we could have made it closer," said Coach Turner.
The loss drops the men to 4-4 on the season and 2-3 in the MCC.
