Khudziy earns All-America honors

Huntington, Ind. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2011 Men's Tennis All-Americans and among the list of honorees was Huntington University’s Vlad Khudziy.

Khudziy, a freshman from Moscow, Russia, was an Honorable Mention All-America pick. Playing at the Foresters’ No. 1 spot in both singles and doubles for a majority of the year, he compiled a 13-4 record in singles action and a 14-3 record in doubles play. He was also named MCC First-Team All-Conference and was only one of two MCC players to receive All-America honors. He finished fifth at the ITA National Small College Championships and is currenlty the 20th-ranked player in the country according to the latest Campbell/ITA college tennis ranking.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 173 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
