HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Forester men's tennis team turned around to play again on Saturday and ran up against a solid Davenport University squad who handed HU its second 6-3 loss in as many days.
After a back and forth doubles session, Khudziy and Velez came out with the only HU win. In singles play, Khudziy and Velez each grabbed a win in their respective match. Khudziy beat Vitaly Shumilov in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, while Velez stormed back after his 2-6 first set loss to overwhelm Victor Roland in the next two sets, 6-1, 6-2, for the come-from-behind win.
Huntington (5-9) is back in action on April 14 when they host Trine University at 10:00 a.m.
