Forester tennis suffers first loss

Huntington, Ind. - In a battle between two unbeatens, it was the #19-ranked Tigers of Olivet Nazarene University who came out on top with a decisive 8-1 win over the Forester men's tennis team on Saturday afternoon. Vlad Khudziy and Augusto Velez teamed up to secure the lone Forester win at the #1 doubles spot as HU opened up spring play with a its first loss of the year.

"I knew this would be a tough task to start our spring season against a top 20 team half way through their primary season," commented Coach Ferguson. "But the lopsided loss was unexpected. We will use the loss to refocus our efforts and work harder."

The Foresters are back in action on Friday when they travel to Aquinas College for a 4:00 p.m. match-up.
