Huntington, Ind. - Up against #14-ranked Aquinas College, the Forester men's tennis team suffered its second consecutive loss by dropping a 7-2 decision to the Saints on Friday afternoon.
The Foresters' two wins came at the top two singles' position as Vlad Khudziy came back to defeat Aaron Hendrick, 5-7, 6-1, 10-8, at the #1 spot while while Augusto Velez took care of Nik Artaev, 6-2, 3-6, 10-6, at #2 singles.
"Our education continues as to what it takes to compete with nationally ranked programs," commented Coach Ferguson. "The matches against Olivet and Aquinas are excellent gauges of where we are now and where we need to be for the National Team Championship in May."
With this loss, the Foresters drop to 13-2.
